What you'll teach
Live classes inside
our pathways.
Every pathway mixes recorded courses with live classes. You teach the live part: walking students through real returns, forms and client situations, and answering their questions as they go.
- Single sessions or multi-week classes, scheduled with you
- Small groups of students who have enrolled and paid for the class
- Case-based teaching: returns, forms, notices and client conversations

How you're paid
Two ways
to be paid.
We agree the pay for each class with you before it starts.
A flat fee per session
A set amount for every session you teach.
When: Payable once each session has been held.
A share of class revenue
A percentage of what students actually paid for your class.
When: Payable once the class's last session has ended and the 30-day refund window on each payment has passed. Refunds are deducted.
Add your payout details in your dashboard; our team pays out your ready earnings, with no minimum.

Questions
Good to know.
Do I need an account to apply?
No. Apply with your name and email. If you're approved, we create your account and email you a link to set your password.
What happens in the interview?
A short video call, usually around 30 minutes, about your experience and how you'd teach. We email you the time and the meeting link; you can ask us anything too.
Do I create the course content?
Recorded courses are produced by the academy. You lead the live classes that sit alongside them, using your own experience and examples.
How are sessions scheduled?
We agree dates with you and add the sessions. Zoom or Google Meet links are created automatically and appear in your dashboard and your students'.
How much will I be paid?
It depends on the class. We agree either a flat fee per session or a percentage of what students pay for the class with you before it starts.
Can I teach from outside the U.S.?
Yes. Classes are online, so you can teach from anywhere as long as you can deliver accurate U.S. tax content.
