Enrollment Agreement

This agreement is between Xcape Tax Academy, 249 Oxley Ave, Margate QLD 4019, Australia (“we”, “us”) and you, when you apply to enroll in a Xcape Academy pathway. It works alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Applying and approval

• You apply to one pathway at a time; you can be enrolled in several pathways, each with its own application.
• We review every application. We may approve it, decline it, or invite you to an orientation call first.
• You can withdraw your application at any time before we decide.

2. Prices

• Each course and live class in a pathway has its own price, in U.S. dollars. The prices you see are locked in for you when your enrollment is approved.
• If an ambassador referred you, enter their code on your application; it can’t be added later. A code that gives a discount works for one student only, and the discount is applied to your locked prices.

3. Paying

• After approval, pay for the whole pathway at once (every required item you haven’t paid for yet) or for each course and class before you start it.
• Some pathways include optional items. You can buy them too, but you don’t need them for your certificate.
• Payments are taken by Stripe. An item unlocks as soon as its payment is confirmed, and free items unlock when you’re approved.

4. Courses and live classes

• Courses are recorded lessons you take at your own pace. Your progress is saved as you go, and you keep access with no expiry.
• Live classes run online at scheduled times, shown in your time zone, with a Zoom or Google Meet link. We record your attendance when you join, and the instructor can correct it.
• A live class counts as complete once its last session has ended. Missed sessions aren’t refunded or rescheduled; when the instructor shares a recording, you can watch it.

5. Assessments

Assessments are for practice and feedback from your instructors. They don’t decide whether you complete a course. Everything you submit must be your own work, and you must not share questions or answers with others.

6. Your certificate

• We issue your certificate automatically once you’ve completed every required course and class in the pathway.
• It has a public verification page showing your name, the pathway, the items you completed and the issue date.
• It’s an internal academy credential, not an IRS licence, government credential or accredited qualification, and it doesn’t replace any registration (such as a PTIN) the law requires for tax work.
• We may revoke a certificate that was issued in error or obtained by breaking this agreement.

7. Your access and conduct

• Course videos, live sessions and materials are for your own use. Don’t share your access, meeting links or materials, and don’t record sessions.
• Be respectful to instructors and other students in classes and in the community.

8. If an ambassador referred you

The ambassador whose code you used can see your name, the pathway and the status of your enrollment, and earns a commission on what you pay. They can’t see your contact details.

9. Refunds and ending your enrollment

• You can get a full refund for a course or class within 14 days of paying for it, if you haven’t started it. Our Refund Policy has the details.
• You can stop studying at any time. Payments are refunded only as the Refund Policy allows.
• We may cancel an enrollment that breaks this agreement or our Terms of Service. Payments for access lost this way aren’t refunded.

10. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and disputes are decided by the courts of Queensland, Australia. If you’re a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protections of your local law and can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

11. Changes to this agreement

If we change this agreement, we’ll publish the new version here with a new version number and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in. Questions: support@xcapetaxacademy.com.
